The Perfect Syrup Hack

July 25, 2017 by Mirlandra Leave a Comment

Why are you still eating crummy store syrup?  It just takes a few minutes to transform it into an awesome breakfast syrup!

A plate of pancakes is covered in rich syrup that has been modified to taste homemade. You can see the store bought bottle of syrup in the background.

Seriously, grocery store syrup just does not taste that great but it is cheap and easy.  I’m a real maple syrup person in general.  But sometimes it is too pricey or somebody does not like it etc.

When I do need to serve basic grocery store syrup I like to jazz it up a bit.  It just takes a few minutes and the results are phenomenal.  Little tricks like this make such a big difference in your cooking!

This is also a great recipe to experiment with.  Add a bit more vanilla or cinnamon and see what you think!  It is easy to put your own stamp on this.

Have a great week guys.  Thanks for stopping by to cook with me!

You really need to make my pancake recipe to go with the syrup.  Just take a look at the post comments and you will see why it may be the last pancake recipe you ever try!
